Trim switch dead in bow & on control - works on cowl

I tested the bow switch & i'm getting some current, but just barely, nowhere near what it should be. I can't get to the wiring easily to test the switch on the control. The only wires I can see is red/white, blue/white, green/white coming from both. I've read that the blue/white & green/white are the up/down or vice versa, so I'm guessing the red/white is for (+) coming from somewhere.

My question is where does the red/white wires go to draw the power for both switches? Directly to the battery, off the fuse panel, off the ignition switch, etc. A wiring diagram sure would help.

I have my control manual, but it shows a red wire going to the ignition switch, which i'm either blind or there isn't one.

Oh by the way if it helps:

Those switches on the bow get a lot of abuse just from the location they are in. Try shorting the + to the other wires and see if it works. it may be as simple as a bad switch. Where were you connecting your ground lead when checking voltages?

I was putting the ground lead to the other wire, green/white or blue/white. I don't think its a switch problem as the one on the throttle control quit working the exact same time.

The ground lead from the meter has to be connected to battery ground to read voltage.

Gotcha, I figured I was doing that wrong. I'm learning this stuff as I go. I'll check it again. Do you know where the red/white wires from the trim switches on the throttle lever & bow switch go to in case I still don't have power getting to the switches?

Thanks
