Trim tab on a evinrude??

Hi I got a evinrude 48 spl and the trim tab is turned all the way to the right not lined up with and numbers strees good to the left but is alittle hard streeing to thev right so whitch way should I turn it or is there a number it should be on any help would be great. Thanks

It should be turned a little to the right maybe 3 degrees or so it doesn't have to be a lot. You want set so that the boat turn easy boat doesn't torque steer on you constantly.
