i have a 60hp johnson on a 15 ft speedboat. I have recently cleaned up all the teleflex components so that out of water the steering is nice and loose and only tension that is slihgtly present is the push back from the cables when bending. But when in water i have noticed that letting go of wheel and powering up it turns right. does this sound like my trim tab has moved, or is it normal as it steers happily enough, although right is noticably lighter than left( is this what the friction clip is to overcome on the whool shroud?) if tab, how and how much do i adjust it?

Re: trim tab

the pull you are felling is due to the props right hand rotation.

Re: trim tab

I just cut my trim tab off to put on a bigger prop and it made absolutely no difference.
