Hi Fellow Boaters!
Looking forward to the spring in Upstate NY!
Last year prior to us putting the boat away, we had an interesting list/lean to Starboard. Almost to the point of where it feels like the whole vessel is going to roll on its side. I can correct it to a certain degree with the trim tabs, but I'm wondering if it's due to the trim tabs being bent?
Attached the left and right trim tab photos. Would that potentially cause the issue? Initially, we thought it was weight balance related, but even with 3 people on the port and myself on the starboard, I still had to deploy the tab to correct and even then it only worked for a short amount of time.
One other interesting scenario, if I deploy both trim tabs to full 'Down', the boat seems relatively more stable. Are these undersized for this type of boat?
2005 Bayliner 325 with Merc 350, B3s.
Appreciate any advice!
