1998 Wellcraft 240 SE with carb'd 350 reman long block about 2 yrs ago and VP Cobra SX and merc ignition parts (a bit Franken-ish). Runs great, had someone else throw in a new dash-mounted ignition switch when they put batteries in and launched it a few weeks ago (did not have time myself). That wasn't done quite right, ignition switch wiring caused electric fuel pump to keep running and may have burned out the fuel pump. Ignition switch wiring cleaned up, fuel pump replaced - runs great again.
But - now the hydraulic trim tabs don't actuate. I think it's electrical power to tab pump motor (motors?). Suggested diagnosis steps? General pics here
