I have the Bennett M80 Sport Tabs with the EIC on my Stingray and love them. They made my boat 10x better. In your case I would invest in a motor with power T&T. All the trim tab in the world is not going to make up for not having power T&T, but they will help you get on plane.

I agree with Dan.

Tabs don't solve all listing problems, and what they solve, they solve by creating drag. Better to level the hull without the drag.

It's not that they won't do any good; it's a cost/benefits question. PLus they are something else to go wrong and something else in the way.

I'd get rid on one battery unless you know you need it that day. My boating friends and I use boats all the time all our lives and only use one battery in the smaller boats w/out trolling motors. It's how it's done and it works fine.

What would be the best way to go about adding tilt/trim? A new motor is not really an option. Are there any aftermarket power tilt and trim systems out there that would work with the motor I have?

That would be a great option and at $526 from here on iboats it's only slightly more than the base Bennett M80 Sport Tab kit. It also looks like the CMC kit provides a few inches of setback which is a good thing for performance.

You gave me a heart attack with that 775! ha. Yeah I like that a lot. just might have to do that right there.
