I have trim tabs on my boat. One of them is moving in a short, jumpy movements, much slower then the other. What could I do? Any lubrication for trim tabs?

Thank you.
Lenny2113,

We need to figure out which type of trim tabs you have installed on your vessel before we try to help you out with your situation. Please let us know the brand &/or type and I am sure we can come up with some ways to clear up your jumpy trim tabs!

I look forward to your reply.

Sincerely,
MJ Thomas
Bennett Marine, Inc.
Client Services
trimtabs@earthlink.net
www.bennetttrimtabs.com
Have you checked the fluid level in the reservoir and cycled the tabs up and down several time to make sure that there is no air in the lines? Assuming (bad idea) that they are Bennetts I would immagine you'll be hearing from Tabman pretty soon.

Thom
Lenny2113,

Ok, you state they are "jumpy", but can you explain it a better to me. I mean are they jumpy on the way down, up or both?

Sincerely,
MJ Thomas
Bennett Marine, Inc.
Client Services
trimtabs@earthlink.net
www.bennetttrimtabs.com
