I recently installed smart tabs on my 19ft. celebrity 4.3L Mercruiser and all i can say is WOW! I use to have to stand up when i would take off to see over the bow rise. With the new smart tabs installed I can sit in my chair and accelerate with m minimal bow rise. It must have reduced my bow rise by 70%. I paid 100 bucks for the tabs and it was worth every penny. It took me about an hour to install. Highly recommended, throw away those hydrofoils.
