Trim/tilt calbles/hoses on 1150

sorry for my broken english i´m a german ;-)<br />I owned a used Mercury 1150 with the Trim-system called "A" in the Seloc. I have a problem to mount the 4 Hoses from the Trim-Zylinders to the Pump assembly. How do i find the right position for the single Hoses? This Parts was disasembled send to me. Next problem: is it nessesary to connect the Pump directly to the Battery-Power, i found no Harness / Battery leads. <br /><br />Thnks for Support and many Greatings<br />fron Beck´s Town, Germany

Stephan, you should have on the bottom of the pump a valve body with 2 large and two small hose connections for the lines, the pump connects to the battery and has a harness that plus in to the pump ( a small round connection with 3 spad slots in it) the harness then runs to the front of the boat--Bob

Sorry i´m blind without my glasses ;-) 2 large, 2 small Pins- sorry for my stupid Question.<br />But the connect to the Battery... there ist no Problem to find the right connection red+, black-,<br />but witch diameter should the wire have? there is no diskription in the Book. how many Ampers are floting in it? is the Diameter of 2 mm enough???<br /><br />THX for your Support!<br />Stephan

Stephan sorry I don't know 2 mm size we would call it 8 gauge--Bob

8 guage would be about .190" and a mm is .03937' would that be about 5 mm for the large wires?

Manny THX for your fast Support! I think, i will take 8-gauge = 6mm . That´s the (my!)Problem in Europe with inch, lbs, & Co. exept in England.<br />All others use Metric System ;-) <br /><br />Sorry for my bad and broken English!<br /><br />Stephan-HB
