Trim/Tilt grease fitting problem

I have replaced the two grease fittings on my 225 HP Johnny , dug out all of the old hardened grease, used carburater solvent, mystery oil, high powered grease gun, and I still can't get any grease to go where it belongs. I know it's only a matter of time before I won't be able to raise or lower the engine with the hardened grease. What's my next option, heat? dismantle?<br />Stalker

I would go the heat route before dismantling it. I would take my time to allow the heat to really soak in. Let us know how it works out.

Also try greasing the zerks with the motor in different positions. Sometimes the tilt tube is exerting the entire weight of the engine on the grease passage and won't allow any grease in.
