Trim/Tilt Help

Hi there,<br /><br />I have a 1973 65hp Evinrude, I purchased the motor with my current hull. However, all of the trim/tilt gear is missing. The rams are still attached, with the fluid lines blocked off with some hose.<br /><br />What parts will are needed to get the trim/tilt operational again?.... my back is getting rather sore! =D<br /><br />Spiller<br /><br />new to the site btw...

Spiller...you need a service manual for this motor really bad.

The T&T that came with that engine costs a fortune to repair these days. There are aftermarket systems that bolt between the motor and the transom and work great at around $400 US.

spiller, welcome to iboats! as you can try to find some parts through salvage, maybe even a whole unit, and the aftermarket david is talking about is the CMC brand, and is available through iboats, and I just saw a couple units on ebay. One of the members on here has one on his V4 and quite frankly for four hundred and some change it's well worth it
