Trim/Tilt question

I have a 87 18'ft Sylvan with a 87 70hp mercury on it. I mainly use this boat in the fall/winter months in Michigan for steelhead in the rivers.

My question is that I have trim/tilt on the throttle but was wondering if I could add a switch to the motor or rear splashwell somewhere so I could tilt the motor from the back to make it easier to put on/take off my transom saver.

Thanks

Re: Trim/Tilt question

It's not a problem, decide where you want the switch and the type you want (toggle or rocker) you need 3 wires, one for power supply and a up (blue) wire that goes to the small blue solenoid terminal and a down wire (green) to the other small green terminal on the other solenoid.
