I have a boat thatI guess is from the late 60's. I am troubleshooting the trim/tilt motor. The controls for the trim/tilt is a key switch plus a rocker switch. On the back of the key switch is a brown and brown/white striped wire that goes back by the trim tilt motor. The end at the engine isn't connected to anything it has a male connector and the other a female connector. I have looked for the connectors to connect them to. Anyone have any ideas where these wires connect to. The outdrive I believe is an 120 Type 1. The motor is a 120/140 not sure which. Being other people have been into this. I have looked in my repair manual and it shows the wire on the key switch but I can't seem to find them on the other end. The repair manual I have is the Seloc Mercruiser Sterndrive 64-91 and the diagram on the key switch is on page 8-18. Sorry for the long saga of my boat.
