Trim/Tilt

The trim tilt on my 1980 115 Hp Johnson runs great lifting the engine, however when lowering the engine it sounds strained. I have also recently blown a few fuses.<br /><br />Any idea what i should be looking for?<br /><br />Stephen

Raise the motor.<br />Check the fluid level.<br />Fill to proper level.<br />Cycle it up and down a few times.<br />Cross your fingers.
