I have a 1981-82 mariner v6 150, I bought this boat it had a cmc tilt and trim unit on it that is to small. I need to know what unit will fit my motor. thanks
what makes you think it is too small? I have a cmc pt-130 on my 115 and it works great. Now... i know the pt-130 is technically rated for 130 hp... but the way it handles my 115, i think it would be fine with a 150 on it.
it wont trim my motor when im running under power. I talked to a cmc rep he told me to not run it on a 150 it will break or bend the unit, that there was to much torque for it. Said dont go any higher then a 130 hp.
