Sorry I am posting so much today! Its that time of year I guess.

Quick question. When docked at the slip for extended periods, is it best to have the outdrive trimmed up or down? I left it down in the winter to avoid undue stress- I am assuming the same would be true while docked, especially for extended periods?

Down is fine. Up stretches the exhaust and driveshaft bellows and exposes the lift cylinder rods. That drive barely clears the water when up anyway.
