So the binnacle with tilt was gone from my boat when I got it. I purchased a replacement and wired it as the wiring diagram suggested blue-blue / green-green / red-red:ign But it still didn't work. I swapped the relays and they clicked a bit but still no action, they stopped clicking, battery is fully charged. I tried checking the red and black at the relay box and replaced the connector for the motor to the relay box. So all that said I also Tested the motor directly to the battery and it raises and lowers smooth and easy.
So what can I be missing? The wiring going to the switch also had a black with yellow stripe its not connected anywhere but seems to go to ground at the relay box. There is 2 black wires that I believe once went to a limit switch but they go nowhere now.
Trying to rewire this boat is interesting so far to say the least.
