Trim won't stay in the up Position

My 1997 Crownline (4.3GLA) is parked on the side of my house. When I noticed that the outdrive was in the down position and the battery was dead, I replaced the switch on the throttle, as well both of the Hella Relays (part# 4RD-931-680-01). The outdrive worked (up and down) for 2 days, and then today I heard the outdrive motor continuing to run - continually trying to lower the volvo penta outdrive even though it is already in the full down position. I disconnected the battery leads Might anyone have any idea what to do next?

In most cases its the trim control switch in the throttle handle. Mine started doing that a couple years ago and just needed a new switch

Now I'm really stumped. I had previously replaced the switch inside the throttle housing. On purpose, I left the switch wired, but separate from throttle handle (see photo). It happened again! The outdrive went into the down position overnight (and the motor ran until the battery drained). I have replaced both relays at the hydraulic pump. Any ideas?

Have no idea
Replaced the handle switch and both relays and it still does it

Something is making contact to energize the relay. Short, chaffed wire or something else

Since it is obvious that the relay is being energized as AD suggested the green wire is in contact with a positive source.
Why not just bypass the green wire with a new one from the control to the down relay. Is the trim harness separate from the engine harness? Is the harness enclosed in a insulating sleeve?
I once found a screw through the engine harness that held on the rub rail.
