What kind of trim unit is it? Is it pump/reservoir in boat with 4 hydraulic lines going to 2 outboard cylinders? Alternatively, it could be 3 cylinders between the transom brackets.
The plastic plug can be a real pita. I used a box end wrench and CAREFULLY turned it to get it broke loose. Once it was loose, I used a wood chisel as a screwdriver to again carefully loosen it
106,can I fill this cylinder w/atf & solve my prob? I've tried box end, metric,large screwdriver, nothing seems to work plus all liquid wrench sprays, can't break loose.at a loss how to remove it.
