Trim works but not trim

Hit a USO at about 25mph, sheared off 2" of the skeg and severly damaged prop (aluminum). Replaced prop and motor performs normally. Trim works perferctly but tilt does not work at all. When trimming up, outdrive reaches maximum trim up position but then nothing when tilt cylinder would normally take over...no hydraulic pump sound and no movement. Not sure this happened when USO was struck since boat is kept on a lift and tilt feature is almost never used. 5.0 TKS with Alpha One. Ideas?

Push the top of the trim button harder. It's a 2 position switch. First click is trim, push harder for second click for tilt/trailer

Thanks. I'll try it but not sure thats it (I pushed on the dang thing pretty hard...several times). At first I though I bent something but then I would think I would still hear the hydraulic pump.

Boat is a couple of hours away so won't be able to try it until this weekend. Thanks again!

Doesn't seem to be the switch. Pushing harder had no effect.

Trims up to the normal maiximum trim up position then just stops. No hydraulic pump sound, nothing.

Guess I'll have take it to the marina.
