Trim ?

I have 1993 Mercury 60 hp on a 24' Monark pontoon boat, when I pull boat out of water on trailer and trim motor up by the time I get home the motor is trimmed down?? Is this low hyd fluid or any help?

Mine did that last year and the bleeder screw was just loose

There should be a lock lever that you turn into place once the motor is trimmed right up. Lower the motor onto the locking lever. That'll keep the motor from creeping down.

BTW, my Mercury manual recommends not relying on this locking lever for transporting the boat and motor?!

I use a transom saver on my runabout but a pontoon boat loads on the trailer very high off the ground. You should not have to trim it up to trailer.
