The other day my 1977 470 merc would not trim up it would only trim down. I finally jumped two terminals on the trim solenoid and got it to go up to load it on the
trailer. After I jumped the terminals on the soleniod than the trim switches worked. Im not sure how this system works especially with the two button switches to
raise the trim all the way up.
