If I am reading your post correctly, you are saying that you have only one working trim tab and no drive trim (power trim). <br /><br />Regarding your tabs, it would depend on your boat. As Pursuit mentioned, they are good for adjusting the lateral balance of the boat, etc. One could speculate that if it had them on the boat there might have been a reason.<br /><br />But the drive trim is another matter. If the boat you describe is a planing hull, I think you would want to get it fixed. It allows you to position the drive in to get up on plane quicker and with less bow rise (safety). When on plane, drive trim allows you to position the propeller thrust for maximum efficiency and handling (safety).<br /><br />What position is the drive "stuck" at?<br /><br />If I’ve misinterpreted your post, please ignore.<br />-Chris
