trolling motor conversion help

hello everyone, i am wondering if anyone can help me find a fitting that you can change a bow mount trolling motor to use a scissor type mount. i have a mount that i used for the foot controlled trolling motor and i want to take the bracket off the bow mount and use the old mount. but the problem you run into is the bow mount pole is smaller and does not fit into the slot. is there a fitting that you can buy to convert this? thank you for your help in advance.

Measure the ID of the bracket you want to use and OD of the shaft you want to use. Then head to your home improvement store and measure plastic pipe. You may need to buy a 4, 6, or 8 foot piece but the stuff is cheap. Cut the length you need. Then cut the piece in half the long way. Insert one half in the mount, then the shaft, then the other half, then the clamp and go fishing.
