I just purchased a Minn Kota Terrova Quest and I'm wiring up the electrical. I purchased the Minn Kota plug, but it is not as clean insulation as I would expect it as much as it needs a butt connector on the trolling motor side. I bought the plug because I liked the fact that the installation secured the rotation of the male half. I would rather have a clean wire connection directly to the plug and the motor without any splice. Suggestions????
