trolling motor ?'s

I am looking at buying a minn kota endura 34.....can anybody tell me if this a decent trolling motor. 34lbs thrust and 36 inch shaft.

Its a good motor, providing you use it on teh right boat.<br /><br />I use a 40 on my 14' trihull, It is enough, I would compare it to a 1 or 2 HP gas as far as speed. It moves prety good on the highest setting.

I had a 36# Minn Kota Endura and it was a great unit. Really pushed my 14' jonboat around. Get the Weedless Wedge prop though.

Thanx for the response guys. Hey Chris the weedless prop does it help with speed or power or is it just gonna help tp stop from picking up weeds?

I would recommend you get one with the maximizer unit in it. You'll get hours of trolling before you need to recharge.
