I am wondering if it is possible to slow the motor down. I would like to use it for trolling on my small boat but the slowest it will go is about 2.8 mph I'd like to go down to 1. I don't want to use a sock, bucket,or back troll. I'm trying to eliminate my electric trolling motor and extra batteries. I had even thought about a plate, but if there is a way to make a few quick adjustments to the motor, I would prefer that route.
