"HISTORY'S BEST-BEHAVED MILITARY" Lt Col. Ralph Peters.

I know a lot of you don't like Col Peters, (please pass this by) as he tends to view actual history and real facts and tries to give his readers some historical and factual corntext when he ponders the heavy matters of our times.

I for one: really like him, as he does not pull his punches, and he can cause a kool aid drinker to actually question what they are cornsuming from the Liberal MSM, if they take the time to read his excellent articles from time to time and think about what he says fer just a bit.

It is much easier to just repeat George Bush lied people died, or incompetant et al, rather then actually cornnect some dots as Boom likes ta say. Enjoy, JR

Mornin' Murky.

I agree with your idea that the USA military has relatively few murderers and law breakers in its ranks.
Where it used to be a tradition for conquering armies to rape and pillage in order to get paid for their war efforts,the US army does not do this anymore.
At the same time,people do not change and many youngsters became soldiers not because of their ideals but because it was a way to not have to decide for oneself and live a prepackaged future.
These kids are not good or bad.They just do what is easiest at the time.
It is amazing that so few turn turn to crime given the pressure they live under.
Still,they represent you and me in a foreign land where they are our ambassadors.I for one insist that they represent my values and not the values of the inner city ghetto.

A very balanced statement rolmops, except in typical liberal fashion it ignores the point of the article. That point is, how the American Left uses every rare example to try to paint the US Military as a bunch of lawless thugs.

I can't believe the source on this little number. Who is the one using stereotypes now? If this isn't profiling, what is it?

{I sure wish I knew how to use those cool shaded box's for quotes}

Pointer,It would have been stereotyping if I would have said "all youngsters that go to the army"
Besides,where I come from,profiling has proven to greatly increase the effectiveness of airport security.
As for those cool shaded boxes,try the button that says "quote"
