77 AQ170 / 280 Outdrive

I have been searching for a flywheel housing for an AQ170. I got one off of Ebay that was supposed to work for my motor. The one I received had a a part that extends out on the bottom opposite the starter that I guess has something to do with the exhaust on a 4 cylinder. It has three threaded holes on the bottom that looks like you would bolt through the motor into the housing. On my housing none of the holes are threaded and they all run through the housing into the motor. Also the overall diameter was smaller, my original housing being about 14" while the one I received was about 13".

I have messaged a couple other sellers on ebay that claim this same one works on an AQ170 but they all look like the one I received. I am having trouble finding the one that would fit and just has the bolt up for the starter. Any ideas what other motors use this housing? Any other place to look besides ebay?

Thanks for the help!

Re: Trouble finding AQ170 Bell housing

Well I found one. Apparently the six cylinder housings are less common and harder too find. With some calling around to local shops I found one that is less than a mile away from my house. Too bad he wants 495 for it, I only paid 50 for the first one.
