Trouble finding correct thermostat kit for 1996 90 HP Evinrude

1996 90 HP Evinrude Model E90TLEDA. I can not for the life of me find the correct Thermostat kit. Wherever I look, the date ranges go from 1983-1995 and then jump to 2004-2005. The thermostats themselves are Sierra 18-3543, the closest kit I can find is Sierra 18-3673, however it does not show this kit for the 1996 model year, in fact it shows no listing for a kit whatsoever for 1996.

Anyone know how I can find the right kit?

The kit for 1995 90 will work on your outboard. If you do a comparison you will see that the parts are the same between the two years.

It appears everything BUT the thermstats are the same. 96 uses 0434841 and 95 uses 0393659. I wonder if iboats or wholesale marine would mix and match a kit for me? Because if you buy everything separately, you pretty much pay double what a kit costs.

The kit for 1995 90 will work on your outboard. If you do a comparison you will see that the parts are the same between the two years.

Upon further research, this kit did indeed fit and has corrected my issue. Thank you.
