Ok how the heck do you take the steering cable off, i see there is the pin at the end of the ram, i removed that, and now the ram is free inside that fixture i can jiggle it a little. I see that there is a nut that looks like a jam nut on the cable side of the ram setup... am i supposed to loosen this then it will slide out??? (i would have loosened it but i tried and was about to break something it is so stuck) And whats the deal with the big ol nut insert type thing that is right in the middle of the cable ram housing?
