So I am not sure this is the place to post this, if not I apologize. I have tru course steering, there is a decent amount of resistance when i turn the wheel, it will turn and so does the sterndrive from lock to lock, but shes just stiff. I have read several posts about this and most say (and so does the awful seloc manual) that I need to grease the fittings, 1 located on the outside about halfway up the IH, and the other on the inside of the IH. Another post says to grease a hole located halfway up the drive. The problem with all of this is I cant locate these grease fittings anywhere, Ive looked for pics, I have checked posts, Im at a complete loss. There was also a rouge post I found saying some Tru-Course setups dont have grease fittings. Any help would be appreciated...

Just for laughs... I took this thing out for sea trials a few weeks ago and the steering made me look like i had been partying all night when i was leaving the cove...

that sounds dangerous. 1 fitting is outside on the back of the intermediate housing right next to the horizontal trucourse steering shaft, the other is on the inside at the other end of that shaft (forward end of it). If yours doesn't have them, remove the drive, remove the horizontal trucourse steering shaft and coat it with grease.
While the drive is off, see if the problem goes away - meaning the friction it could be a problem in the drive. Some people mix and match uppers and lowers and pay no attention to the shimming of the exhaust housing cover and bind it tight. Get a real manual.

... also, double check and make sure there's no tension adjustment on the helm that's got it all tightened up. Usually on the bottom of the helm bezel if you have one.
