A real truck......lets see.....Gotta have V-10 or turbo diesel, 4wd, transfer case w/ low range, eight lug wheels, Solid axels front & rear w/locking differentials, 8 foot bed, 16" rims, full skid plates, and a 12,000+ pound tow rating..............oh and BTW................. IMHO....

Is mine a truck?<br /> Luckily there are many variations with trucks. Where as a late 70's Chev 3/4 ton (or similar) is what some people like, it is not my ideal truck. I move stuff on occasion and I need seating for 4. I tow with it and I put on a lot of highway miles. It's a 5.9, 4 sp. auto w/ lockup converter, 4x4, 4 w/disc brakes. 16 mpg, loaded with creature comforts, it'll smoke the tires and it stops on a dime. <br />A Jeep isn't a truck, they're advertised (by Jeep) as suv's.

wow thick with testosterone in here (my dads truck is better than your dads truck) I feel 6 all over again. <br /><br />My truck has no 4x4, no low gear, and probably not 9" off the ground.... wanna play hit and run? <br /><br />77 F250 Bet I win that is if I get there and back at my aprox 10 mpg

If eeboater ever reads this hes gonna go nuts......him and his jeeps.<br /><br />In my opinion mines a truck....bed, 4x4, locking diff, towing package, 2 doors, boxy and not rounded body......of corse there are many versions of a truck.<br />
