Trying to find out information on a semi-old Suzuki 25hp....can anyone help?

I have a older 3 cylinder 25hp Suzuki outboard with a 15in shaft and I am trying to figure out what year it is. I am planning on fixing it up and selling it locally or on ebay soon and replacing with a 40-50 hp. Does anyone have any links to decipher a motor identification number for me? How else can I find out the year of it? Thanks guys! Seems like a nice forum you have here.

My serial number is 02507461448, does that mean its a 1994? Thanks alot!
