Trying to found the year of my motor

Please help me? I bought a evinrude motor model number be8bacud. I can't figure out for sure what year my motor is so I can order the right parts. Please help?

Belgium made, has an AC lighting coil, CU are the date letters for '87

See the owners manual ( or ask) if you want the use the AC output for lighting or add a rectifier for battery charging.

Runs on 50:1 even if marked 100:1

Always quote the full model number when ordering parts.

It does has the ac output on the motor. I use it to charge me cell and for lights.

You can run lights directly from the AC but you need a 3 phase type of rectifier if you are to use it for battery charging
