Trying to get a value on a bayliner

take the value of boat, motor and trailer as a whole - recent search shows a few in the $12k range... subtract the cost of a trailer $2500 and a cost of a motor / controls / misc $10k and you have -500 left.... then see post #2. just the hull aint worth more than $1 unless you intend to strip it down to part it out. then it may be worth $2 if the prior owner is going to deliver.

more boats as a better deal out there for less money.

This reminds me of the guy who goes into the auto parts store and asks for a gas cap for his Yugo. The parts guy replies, "Sounds like a fair trade".

The problem with this boat is Bayliner never sold these as a piecemail product. The trailer and engine were sold as part of the boat, and part of the deal. THere is no way to accurately separate all of the parts and put a value on it since the value was baked in with all 3 components.

So I would pass on this unless you get it for an absolute steal.
