Trying to Verify a Yamaha Model Prefix Code

Hi, all. I read the sticky at the top and got great info there. My motor is a carbureted 85 hp, appears to be a 1995. The tag is scratched up enough that I can't make out the Model Prefix Code. I'm trying to document this before the tag deteriorates any farther. Here's what I have on the tag...

YAMAHA C 8 5 T L R T

(?) 8 8 L 4 2 7 6 1 1

I know that the 'L' means it's a 20" shaft, and '427611' is the motor's serial number. Looking for the answer to the 'question mark' above, and whether I've interpreted the '88' correctly on the tag. Also, what does the model prefix mean- what's it telling me?
