Very bad medicine...this earthquake stuff. Wow, simply devastating....talk about a bad few years all around for a lot of people. If it isn't the economy it's the earthquakes or floods or both.
Here on Southern Vancouver Island we are on northern part of a major fault line...and it is a matter of time before we take it between the eyes.

BP your right its only a mater of time. That last 7.2 we had off shore sure shook us.

Did you guys down there get much of a wave?

You do not underate the unknown, especially in this case.

(don`t you guys have a broken arrow ( lost nuke somewhere in the mud flats), it would be a %$*" if it went off and no one listened!!!

It is not unknown..we know exactly what damage happened..a few boats sank a few more were damaged and some docks were tore up..I still say state of emergency is super overkill...now if you were in Japan it would fit..they certianly are in a state of emergency. yea the nuke is still out there somewhere, they know where it is but are afraid to try to move it..it would be bad if it went off..but what do you do ?? move to Califonia?? I will just stay here and risk it.
