my merc dealer told me to run the gas additive in my old merc. he said it was the same as decarb but you add an oz. to 6 gal. of gas. told me to do this on every fill up. I have already used 2 tanks like this. theres not any excessive smoke and the motor seems to be really strong[115 hp]. I was also told not to put it in every fill up that it would keep the cyl. walls washed down. I wounder which one is correct.
