Tune up kit 1955 evinrude

Can anyone tell me if part# 18-5006 tune up kit for 1956 will work on my 1955 15hp #15014 , I called iboats and the girl said it wont work and they dont carry kit for this year, can anybody tell me where I can get it, iboats have water pump kit #18-3377 , carb kit #18-7043 out of stock on coils I need# 183-4477 any info or help thank you Brian

It is the same ignition, therefore the same tune-up kit. You can get all of these parts at NAPA or your OMC/BRP dealer. This is the standard list of parts for a complete tune-up of a 1955 SuperFastwin.

(1) Carburetor repair kit - Part No. OMC 439071 or 382047 (Sierra 18-7043)

(1) Impeller – Part No. OMC 0775518 (Sierra 18-3002)

(2) Coils - Part No. OMC 584477 (Sierra 18-5181)

(1) Ignition Tune-Up Kit - Part No. OMC 172522 (Sierra 18-5006)

1 L of Outboard Motor Lower Unit Gear Oil

(2) Champion Spark Plugs - J6C

(2) Spark Plug Boots

4’ Copper Core Spark Plug Wire (not automotive type spark plug wire)

(2) Vent Screw Washers – OMC 311598
