Manchester, MO

We share our ramps with the whole world in the season here on Cape Cod, where our population swells to 5 times the year-round . Many of our towns do not allow run-up on ramps at all because it moves too much sand and causes a drop off.

Most of the locals do their tune-ups before the season.

One thing we have attempted to practice is courtesy, another is to avoid the idiotic expression of shocked disbelief. 8)

I do understand and don't wish to cause any hard feelings. One of the places we go to down at the river people treat the ramp like a beach. I have often seen a three boat ramp reduced to a one boat ramp by those less considerate. My wife and I have got it down to an art and can usually be in or out in just minutes.
