turn signal and brake lights problems please

New truck now new problems, running lights and lights work on trailer but the turn signals and brake lights are not working has a standard seven connector.

It's almost always a ground issue.

With a 12V test light, start at the connector and work back.

Well appreciate the response DJ the issue is fixed it was a bad fuse in the truck as to help other people I checked in previous post similar and had it down to basically a ground issue or fuse, in my truck a f-350 diesel its fusebox is right under the drivers side kikerpannel the fuse box stated trailer signals/brakes.

OK -- so it was a blown fuse. Just replacing the fuse did not fix the problem. It fixed the current symptom. What caused the fuse to blow is the real issue. Until you determine that, better carry a bunch of extras.

Yes, it was a fuse that was blown and everything works fine now but I agree what was the cause of this I will research this and give this attention.
