Has anyone had any experience with the second generation of hustler props. I bought a replacement hub only to find out it's a new system so I bought a new housing to go with it it seems to have a cheaper feel to it not that it's made of plastic instead of aluminum with a rubber brushing.

Re: Turning point generation 2

I have a Gen II prop and hub in my hands now, but I have not had an opportunity yet to install it on my boat and test. Before I purchased however, I had a chance to speak with a Turning Point engineer concerning the differences between the Gen 1 & 2 and I was told that the newer hub design allowed less restrictive exhaust flow and it was less expensive to produce. It may be a week or two before I get out on the water with it, but I'll report back when I do.

I have a 21" on my 81' Merc 115. I have similar performance to the prop I replaced it with and have been happy so far but don't have a lot of experience with other props. Please keep us posted.

It really makes me mad that I bought a prop so i could get a replacement hub to find out there are no housings available!!! However i really like the performance of the prop I did get but, I dinged it up a bit!
