Volvo penta SX-M 1.79 coupled to 350hp SBC Vortec.

I'm really frustrated by this as I have been trying for months to resolve this.
The symptoms -

Driving straight on light trim gives a smooth run with no vibration.

Apply more trim or steering and a vibration becomes apparent... It cannot be ignored and is worse when turning tighter under more power.

So far I have replaced the engine coupler, gimbal bearing, ujoints, all engine mounts. Alignment is perfect for sure.

I'm running a quiksilver high 5 which looks in good shape... My question is this... Could the issue be with my prop when it is only happening in turns?

Please please help... I am wiling to do whatever it takes to resolve this.

Best wishes,

Stan

Sure it could be the prop.

I have a 97 Larson with a 4.3L v6 with a Cobra SX outdrive Doing everything that you have described. I have replaced ujoints and had the gimbal bearing checked and told it is fine. I have changed props too still acts the same. I will be watching this thread and hope you get yours fixed and post how you did it. I have seen some post on here about the vibration of a Volvo drive saying it is just a Volvo thing so I don't know what to expect anymore again if you figure it out please post how u fixed it. Thank you in advance and good luck

Well im hoping and praying that it is the prop because I have just done an EFI conversion and you would not believe how amazing the engine is running... ticking over at 500-550rpm you can hardly hear it! Just really looking forward to some sweet turns.
