Re: turns very hard
TMD, he's good but short and sweet...

Run the motor at full throttle and CAREFULLY let loose of the handle and see what direction the boat wants to go.... Basically, it's an easy trim tab adjustment... Whatever direction the boat wants to go, turn the trim tab in the same direction.. Meaning, if the boat goes right,(looking down on the top of the tab) turn the trim tab in a counter clockwise direction, if it goes left, turn it in clockwise... Don't turn it more than a 1/8" at a time before you check the steering again, that's according to most owners manuals... Do the adjustment until the boat runs straight without any hand steering (but be careful).
What this does is counter act the torqe produced from the motor/prop that is probably the reason for the tough steering in one direction.. If that doesn't help make sure your motor is securely fastened to whatever boat you have it on... If for some reason it is not, the torque problem can be magnified and cause much more difficulty in steering.. Also very dangerous.. Just a head up....

Let us know how it turns out...
