I want to mount a tv into my boat. Just a quick silly question. Can I use metal the grab rail as a TV antenna? How far out do tv signals go?

My goal is for the antenna to be not noticeable. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Don't the little tv's still need a converter to pick up signals??

I doubt the grab rail would work..... I know at a camp we had a rotor on the antenna and we had to fine tune each channel and I doubt you would want to maneuver the boat to do that.

Is this for kids or for sports for you? If it's for the kids ....get a dvd player

22 LED TV is mounted. Antenna is just hanging for now. As the boat moves the antenna can be moved.

Works Great and the kids love it.
