Twin 5.0 mercr 1 runs warmer than other

My 280 Regal has twin 5.0lx with alphas.The starboard motor was running a little warmer than the port.Since this boat is new to me I figured instead of trouble shooting,i would just replace everything cooling related.New manifolds,risers,circulator pump,and o/d waterpump.No change!! It still runs warmer.I wonder if the sending unit is not the correct one???Whats next?????? Charlie

The thermo is next in line but it seems to be operating fine.It is not staying open or closed.The motor just seems to run about 20 degrees warmer than the other.Charlie

swap wires side to side and see if problem follows?

Do both engines have the same temperature range rated thermostats?

Swapping wires sounds like a good troubleshoot.I dont know if the thermostats are the same on both.They should be ,but I am the new owner and who knows what is in there.I was going to replace them both anyway. Thanks Charlie
