twin engine mounting

Respected, I am planing to mount second Mercury 50 hp outboard on my boat. Dos the second oe have to spin the propeller in opposite direction, or can this be done only with the certain propeller?

I don't think counter-rotate props are available for anything below the 60 Bigfoot.

Since these engines are from the 70-ties, can I use the props from 60 hp engines, or their (50hp) normal props, and will it pose some special difficulties for the engines or the hull in terms of handling and steering.

everything will work fine, youll just have twice the steering torque. no big problem. i thihk youll be fine
