Is it possible to run our transducer for our lower gps to a depth finder up top in our flybridge?

If you have a NMEA2000 interface on both Displays, it is possible.
Otherwise probably not.

It should not be a problem if both units use the same frequency transducer. It would be best to install a A-B type transducer switch box. Most of the major sonar manufacturers make a switch for this situation.

There are options.
Do you need to see the depth on both displays at the same time?
Or, is it acceptable to have One working, and the other one not working.

We have a garmin gps map 720. What would be compatible? We can turn one off. Only need to know the depth when driving up top.

The 720 is a NMEA-2000 unit.
Another NMEA-2000 Display would allow you to view the depth and position on both displays at the same time.
See Page 15.

Depends on how much money you want to spend. If you don't need the transducer for the helm unit buy a transducer extension cable for $40, run it up to the flybridge and your done.

If you want to use both as UncleWille noted, you have to buy and install a NMEA starter kit ~$80 and a couple of drop cables for $20 each

Does the nmea 2000 unit like let you plug in the transducer and antennas and run them to as many as you want?

Yes! you could have a depth display in every Cabin. One Transducer.
NMEA 2000 Fundamentals.

There are also NMEA 2000 Mini Displays that can show Fuel Level, Engine Data, Depth, Position, Speed, Heading or Anything else you want on a rotating basis.

Time to start Goggling and doing some learning.
