If you do this, you will need to disconnect the engine you are not running when you are running the other, reason is that you can suck air from the non running line. Also you need to be sure that the connector that you disconnect is absolutly working as it should. (shutting off the line completly). Another way would be to put in a three way switch so you could manually switch the fuel from one engine to the other, so you know the other one is shut off. This would be my choice. Air intrusion is the big problem here.
